Personal profile
Qiaoling Xia is a special term professor of Hangzhou Dianzi University. Research field: differential geometry, Riemann-Finsler geometry and geometric analysis. She has been engaging in teaching and research on differential geometry for a long time. At present she mainly focuses on the global analysis and topology on manifolds, particularly, geometric analysis on Finsler manifolds and the topological structures of Finsler manifolds. Up to now, dozens of academic papers have been published in the mathematical jounal indexed by SCI at home and abroad, and some research grants from National Natural Scientic Fundation of China (NNSFC) and Zhejiang Provincial Natural Science Foundation of China (ZP-NSFC) have been awarded. Moreover, she had ever been to visit some countries, such as United States, Hungary, Japan and Romania etc., as a visiting scholar.
