Jianrong Bao, Professor, PhD tutor, received his PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2009, worked as a visiting scholar at the Electrical Engineering in Columbia University in the city of New York for half a year. He was a Postdoctoral Researcher with Zhejiang University during 2011-2013, and with Southeast University during 2014-2017. In recent five years, he has participated in more than 10 science projects. And has taken charge of three National Natural Science Funds of China, including a young program, a general program and a joint key program, one of subproject of National Mobile Communications Lab, Southeast University, one of Zhejiang Provincial Science Funds key program, one of Zhejiang Provincial Science Plan project, two of China Postdoctoral Science and Technology general projects. He has coauthored over 80 papers (been included in SCI/EI/ISTP) in journals and International Conference Proceedings (e.g., IEEE Trans. Vehicular Tech., IEEE Trans. AES, IEEE ACCESS, KSII Trans. Internet and Information Systems), 5 technical books, and has been invited to do the professional reports in the conferences such as International Conferences, Domestic Conferences and some schools. He has been a reviewer of IEEE Trans. Wireless Communications, Communications, Vehicular Technology, AES, etc. He holds more than 10 patents (one of patents have been transferred).
He is the senior member of IEEE, the senior member of Chinese Institute of Electronics, and the senior member of China Institute of Communications. He has won the progress award of science and technology of the joint association of industrial and economical information in Zhejiang province.
