Wanghui

Dr. WANG Hui received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computing Science from University of Surrey, UK, in 2010 and 2014 respectively. During the research study, she has proposed a fast self-restoration watermarking algorithm and an improved image restoration method based on structured side information. Comparative analysis of different watermarking authentication techniques was performed against unintentional manipulations and malicious tampering. As a research fellow, she joined in the research project funded by Intellectual Property Office (IPO) in 2013 and 2015 respectively. The work was to undertake a range of research activities within audio digital watermarking research area, and the work holder was expected to implement a prototype mobile app and a mock music streaming website which work together to demonstrate the concept of a multimedia content protection scheme.

Now she is a lecturer in School of Cyberspace, Hangzhou Dianzi University. Her research field is about security technologies and applications, mainly focusing on multimedia security, content authentication, digital watermarking and digital forensics. In previous years, she has taught many courses for underground student majored in Information Security, including Data Structures and Algorithms, Network Programming with Python, Information Hiding Technologies, and Information Security Technology etc.
