Shaosheng Zhou, male, born in September 1965, from Jining, Shandong Province, obtained his PhD from the Institute of Automation, Southeast University, in April 2002. He currently serves as a member of the IEEE Control Systems Society (CSS) Control Education Board (CEB) and is an external expert for the Australian Research Council (ARC). He was an expert reviewer for the Information Science Section of the National Talent Evaluation Council in 2015 and a communication reviewer for the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. To date, he has published over 60 papers in systems and control academic journals such as IEEE TFS, IEEE TNN, IEEE TAC, Automatica, Systems & Control Letters, Information Sciences, Quantum Information Processing, and Fuzzy Sets and Systems, with 50 papers indexed by SCI and over 1000 citations to his SCI-indexed papers. He has led 3 National Science Foundation projects and participated in 1 key National Science Foundation project (ranked second). In 2014, he received the first-class Zhejiang Province Natural Science Award (ranked second), and in 2010, he received the second-class Shandong Province Science and Technology Award (ranked fourth).
