蒋从锋,博士,杭州电子科技大学计算机学院教授,博士生导师,杭州电子科技大学信息技术中心主任。目前主要研究方向为云计算与大数据、网络通信、数据中心与分布式计算系统。作为课题负责人,承担了国家自然科学基金项目3项,浙江省“尖兵”研发攻关计划项目1项,浙江省自然科学基金项目2项,浙江省教育厅科研项目1项。作为主要成员参与了973、国家科技支撑计划、国家自然科学基金重点项目、浙江省重点研发计划项目等项目的研究与开发。发表论文100余篇,被引用2000余次,获授权发明专利30余项。研究成果获浙江省科技进步奖二等奖2项,中国安全生产协会安全科学技术奖二等奖1项,中国产学研合作创新与促进奖产学研合作创新成果奖二等奖1项。

纵向科研

承担国家自然科学基金面上项目2项,青年项目1项,参与国家自然科学基金重点项目1项,承担省重点研发项目1项。

在数据中心与分布式系统方面,有深入研究。

一、在服务器系统及数据中心能效性方面,提出了功耗可感知的任务调度策略,在满足应用程序QoS约束和系统功耗约束的前提下,降低系统总的能耗。在虚拟化环境及物理机环境下的实验表明,相关算法可以显著提高服务器系统的资源利用率,降低系统能耗。

二、开发了数据中心能效仿真系统eScope,能够实现服务器能效比自动化计算与标记、数据中心能效优化及基于能效比的数据中心硬件配置与选型。功能包括通过IPMI接口协议读取(每秒1次)服务器主板上的功耗传感器,可实时获取服务器的功耗信息,通过不同类型的服务器负载测试程序和自动化测试部署代码,可以管理测试任务的启动、监控和结果收集,同时实时获取和解析服务器功耗使用信息,即可计算服务器的能效比。根据服务器的能效比计算结果,将数据中心的服务器进行标记。根据服务器标记结果,可以计算部署改类服务器的数据中心的能效比。eScope可以通过调整数据中心中不同类型服务器的占比参数,以及其处于的不同的利用率水平,来分析数据中心由于硬件更替变动之后的能效比变迁,为运维部门决策提供数据支持。eScope能够针对数据中心的功耗限制、在线离线任务性能约束,进行数据中心级的服务器节点任务优化调度,仿真结果具有较高的应用价值。
